Patrick completed his Master’s Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Georgia Tech in 2015. He is Assistant Vice President, Total Rewards-Executive Compensation at SunTrust. In this role, he uses employee data—alongside business performance metrics—to drive human capital optimization across areas of the bank. In this role, he measures and communicates the results of departmental initiatives, consulting with stakeholders to ensure that analyses are tailored to business needs and deliver actionable insights. Patrick’s research focuses on employee performance, compensation, and lifecycle management. Examples include evaluating relationships among annual compensation review outcomes, performance ratings, and retention risk indicators, examining the team-level impact of employee relations cases requiring mitigation, and projects aimed at optimizing employee lifecycle management processes to drive higher engagement and retention.
