CASA Lab is looking for motivated undergraduate students to serve as Research Assistants (RAs). RAs can expect to experience a variety of research activities, including (but not necessarily limited to) conducting literature searches, recruiting participants, collecting data, managing data, helping to analyze data, and helping to write-up results for publication. Further, we also provide a host of developmental activities regarding professional communication, getting into graduate school, navigating the publication process, and succeeding in other aspects of academic life.

Most RA positions are unpaid, but can be taken for course credit. RA positions are typically flexible, in that you can work anywhere between 3 and 20 hours per week, during a variety of days/times, and can sometimes perform relevant tasks from a distance.

Ideal candidates are Psychology majors or minors (though all majors and minors will be considered), have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and are interested in working in the lab for multiple semesters with an increasing level of responsibility. RAs must be responsible, reliable, highly motivated, dedicated to conducting high quality work, and able to attend a weekly in-person lab meeting.
